Role Overview
Assist in delivering safe, high-quality CT imaging care in a team-oriented, patient-centered environment. Responsible for executing clinical procedures, selecting appropriate technical factors, and adhering to radiation safety principles. Supports departmental performance improvement, maintains a clean and prepared work environment, and communicates effectively with patients and care teams.
Key Duties
- Perform CT scans, IV access, contrast administration, and assist with invasive procedures.
- Participate in quality control, workflow optimization, and staff training activities.
- Ensure proper equipment operation, maintain a sterile environment, and verify patient orders.
- Provide patient education, address concerns, and document care activities accurately.
Qualifications & Skills
- Associate degree and certification from an accredited radiologic technology program.
- ARRT(R) and CT certifications, or NMTCB(CT) registration required.
- Less than 1 year of CT experience; 10+ years for internal candidates preferred.
- BLS/CPR certification upon hire.
- Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy, radiation safety, and patient care techniques.
- Strong communication, computer skills, and professionalism aligned with organizational values.
