About the role
We are seeking a CT Technologist II to perform high-quality imaging care in a patient-centered environment.
Responsibilities
- Execute clinical CT procedures across diverse patient populations, selecting appropriate technical factors, and adhering to radiation safety principles.
- Perform IV access, contrast administration, and assist with invasive CT-guided procedures.
- Contribute to performance improvement initiatives, training, and workflow optimization to enhance patient experience and safety.
- Maintain a clean, safe work environment, prepare contrast and invasive procedure areas aseptically, and ensure equipment functionality through quality control.
- Communicate effectively with patients, verify orders, and process images for interpretation, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
- Provide patient education, support, and emotional care, while documenting activities accurately in electronic health records.
Qualifications
- Associate degree or equivalent, with a radiologic technology certification from an accredited program.
- ARRT in Radiography and CT required, or NMTCB in CT; 10+ years of CT experience for internal candidates.
- BLS/CPR certification upon hire.
- Less than 6 months to 1 year of CT experience preferred; cross-training or CT certification completion is advantageous.
Skills and Knowledge
- Understanding of cross-sectional anatomy, radiation safety, and patient care techniques.
- Basic computer skills, professionalism, and adherence to ethical standards.
Schedule
This part-time role requires availability between 7 am-3 pm, with a focus on delivering safe, compassionate, and efficient imaging services.
