Requirements
- Radiologic Technologist License (RTL) - Arkansas Department of Health
- 1 of the following certifications is required - ARRT - Computed Tomography (CT), Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT)
- 2 years imaging experience
Qualifications
- Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college program or technical school or nursing diploma
- Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university
Skills
- Knowledge of correct scan protocols to reduce radiation exposure
- Ability to explain exams and procedures to patients and families
- Knowledge of radiation safety recommendations and patient shielding
- Ability to maintain equipment and request service as needed
- Compliance with TJC, state, federal, and local regulatory laws, standards, and protocols
