CT Technologist Full-time Nights

About the Role

The CT/Diagnostic Technologist is fully competent to perform all CT and radiographic/fluoroscopic procedures for the diagnosis of specific diseases or conditions. ARRT (R) certification is required. Advanced ARRT (CT) registry is required within one year of hire date, or employment will be terminated. AHA (American Heart Association) CPR Certification is provided through Cape Fear Valley Training & Development.

Minimum 2 years of experience is preferred. New graduates who are ARRT registered or registry eligible may apply, but those who are registry eligible must obtain ARRT registration in Radiography within twelve months of hire date.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT and radiographic/fluoroscopic procedures for diagnostic purposes.
• Demonstrate positive interpersonal skills, including verbal and written communication.
• Provide excellent patient care tailored to developmental needs across all age groups (neo-natal, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics).
• Apply knowledge of growth and development to deliver appropriate treatment.
• Respond to emergency situations with mobility and dexterity.
• Stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods, including assuming awkward positions when necessary.
• Handle potential exposure to blood or other infectious materials (skin, eye, or mucous membrane contact).

Requirements

• ARRT (R) certification (required).
• Advanced ARRT (CT) registry (required within one year of hire).
• Oral communication skills, dexterity, and visual acuity.
• Mobility to respond to emergencies and perform physical tasks (standing, walking, bending, lifting).

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience preferred.
• New graduates who are ARRT registered or registry eligible may apply (must obtain registration within 12 months if eligible but not yet registered).
