About the Role
Performs computerized tomographic (CT) procedures for diagnosis and treatment, requiring independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative.
Responsibilities
- Conducts CT scans accurately and efficiently to support diagnosis and treatment.
- Maintains adherence to safety and quality standards.
- Operates CT equipment and ensures proper image acquisition.
- Collaborates with healthcare team for patient care.
Requirements
- Completion of Radiologic Technology training from a CAHEA-approved school.
- Registered by the ARRT and holds a current Florida Radiologic Technologist license.
- Must pass ARRT advanced CT certification exam within one year of employment.
- Current BLS certification required.
- Does not operate vehicles for work purposes; may involve frequent driving, defined as multiple daily trips or over 150 miles weekly.
Qualifications & Skills
- Preferably at least one year of radiologic technologist experience.
