CT Technologist | Foothills | Evenings

Regular full-time position, 72 hours every two weeks, evening shift.

About the role

The CT Technologist performs routine, emergent, cardiac, and interventional CT procedures adhering to department protocols on patients of all ages. Practices safe radiation dosing for patients, including image gently, and ensures all required QA is completed. Maintains a clean and safe workplace.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine and emergent CT examinations, including obtaining and documenting pertinent patient history, explaining procedures to the patient, answering questions, and gaining written consent.
• Performs cardiac and CT interventional procedures.
• Uses safe radiation practices according to ARRA regulations and licensing restrictions, including reducing dose exposures to neonatal and adolescent patients.
• Maintains a clean and safe workplace.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Computed Tomography (CT) certification
• Computerized Tomography Technologist (CTCT) certification
• Associate’s Degree or graduate of a qualifying Program (AMA, JCERT, etc.)
• 0 years of experience required

Pay

Hourly pay rate. Base hiring salary range: $30.67 – $46.01. Actual salaries may vary depending on factors including skills and experience.
