About the role
The CT Technologist performs all phases of cross-sectional imaging using CT scanners under the guidance of department leadership and radiologists. They produce internal organ and tissue images for diagnostic purposes, contributing to patient care in a healthcare setting.
Responsibilities
- Operate CT scanners to capture diagnostic images
- Follow department protocols and safety standards
- Ensure quality and accuracy of imaging
- Collaborate with medical staff for optimal patient outcomes
- Maintain documentation and assist with equipment management
Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited radiologic training program
- Washington Radiologic Technologist certification
- American Heart Association BLS certification
- Registered in Radiography and either CT or Nuclear Medicine Technology
- At least 6 months of CT scanning experience as an ARRT(R)
Preferred: 1 year CT experience as ARRT(R)(CT)
