CT Technologist - Days

CT Tech I position with potential for advancement to higher levels based on skills and experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT scanners, power injectors, and computer systems to acquire diagnostic images.
• Perform all CT procedures and post‑processing using advanced technology and established protocols.
• Maintain knowledge of protocols aligned with safety guidelines and dose management, notifying when limits are exceeded.
• Ensure proper patient preparation, positioning, immobilization, and protective shielding.
• Perform CT interventional procedures and advanced CTA imaging, including specialized studies.
• Interpret clinical histories to select appropriate protocols across various organ systems.
• Stay current with physics, pharmacology, and physiology to optimize image quality and patient safety.

Qualifications & Skills

• Graduate from a Specialty Training Program in Radiologic Technology (required); Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Technical expertise in multiple CT systems and familiarity with dose management technology.
• Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, physics, and pharmacology relevant to imaging.
• Ability to produce high‑quality images efficiently and safely.
• Commitment to safety, patient care, and continuous learning.
