About the Role

At the direction of a radiologist, operates computed tomography (CT) and related equipment. Performs CT studies according to specific guidelines, prescribed protocols, and utilizing appropriate radiation protection measures. Reviews images; archives with associated patient data. Interacts with imaging personnel, nursing and medical staff, patients, and visitors. Performs other duties as assigned.

Schedule

  • Monday - Friday: 11:30 AM - 10:00 PM
  • Saturday and Sunday (holidays/weekends): 11:00 AM - 9:00 PM
  • 7 on, 7 off rotation
  • FTE: 0.875

Requirements

  • Post high school completion of an ARRT accredited Radiologic Technology program is required.
  • 1-2 years of college/university coursework and/or an undergraduate degree in a healthcare-related field is preferred.
  • ARRT registered RT (R) in diagnostic radiology and current State of WI license as a Radiographer is required.
  • Advanced certification in CT required within 18 months of hire/transfer.
  • American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA-approved equivalent is required within 90 days of hire.

Experience

  • A minimum of 1 year of current clinical experience in diagnostic radiology is preferred.
  • Clinical student experience may be considered in lieu of one year of current clinical experience.
