CT Technologist (CT Tech)

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and advanced CT exams, including angiography and specialized studies
• Operate CT scanners and post-processing equipment
• Assist with biopsies, drainages, localizations, and invasive procedures
• Administer contrast and perform venipuncture
• Maintain radiation safety standards and quality assurance activities
• Monitor patients, vital signs, and emergency equipment
• Review requests and independently perform complex CT procedures
• Archive and process images through PACS

Qualifications

• High School Diploma
• Certificate of Completion from a Radiologic Technologist training program accredited by an institution recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA), and/or the JCERT
• Advanced certification in Computed Tomography (ARRT-CT) is required
• A minimum of one (1) year of proven clinical experience in CT imaging in a Level 1 hospital setting is preferred
• Maintain active AHA BLS
• Previous Siemens equipment experience is preferred

• Lift up to 50 lbs from floor to waist
• Lift up to 20 lbs
• Carry up to 40 lbs a reasonable distance
• Push/pull with 30 lbs of force
