About the role
We are seeking a CT Technologist for our Peak Staffing (Internal Traveler) Program at Baptist South in Jacksonville, Florida. This is a 12-week contract position with premium pay, renewable for up to two contracts in total. The role involves producing high-quality CT images to assist physicians in diagnosis and treatment assessment.
Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality CT procedures in accordance with established protocols and guidelines.
- Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures.
- Monitor patient vital signs and comfort during exams.
- Operate and maintain CT equipment.
- Collaborate with radiologists to provide optimal imaging results.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of procedures.
- Adhere to safety protocols and radiation safety standards.
- Educate patients on the CT process and address their questions.
Requirements
- 1–2 years of Radiology Technologist experience.
- Customer service experience.
- Experience working in a hospital setting.
Schedule
Full-time, night shifts: Thursday–Saturday, 7:00 PM–7:00 AM.
Pay
Premium pay for the 12-week contract position.
Positions designated as requiring a Level II background screening (fingerprint-based check of state and national criminal history) will undergo this screening as a condition of employment and continued employment. Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse.
