Building Location: Northern Pines Medical Center, Aurora, MN

About the Role

Responsible for the administration of ionizing radiation to humans (age infant through adult) for diagnostic, therapeutic procedures, and/or research purposes, utilizing advanced aspects of computer-assisted, digital image recording, and analysis systems. The technologist also assists radiologists with interventional and biopsy procedures. Provides optimal patient care using established and accepted techniques. Demonstrates knowledge and skills necessary to interact effectively and appropriately with patients of all ages.

Responsibilities

• Administer ionizing radiation for diagnostic, therapeutic, or research purposes.
• Operate advanced computer-assisted and digital imaging systems.
• Assist radiologists with interventional and biopsy procedures.
• Provide optimal patient care using established techniques.
• Interact effectively with patients of all ages (infant through adult).

Requirements

• Must be registered in CT by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) within two years of hire/transfer.
• If working in North Dakota, must have a current license from the North Dakota Medical Imaging & Radiation Therapy Board of Examiners (NDMIRT) upon hire.

Pay

Compensation Range: $33.01 - $48.57 per hour.
