A full-time CT Technologist opportunity is available at a 558-bed acute care hospital in Atlantis, Florida. This nationally recognized facility is a Joint Commission certified Primary Stroke Center, an American College of Cardiology Chest Pain Center, and an American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer accredited Comprehensive Community Cancer Program. The hospital offers advanced services in emergency medicine, cardiovascular care, neurosciences, robotic surgery, orthopedic and spine care, bariatrics, behavioral health, and women's services. The CT Technologist performs high-quality computed tomography imaging for both inpatient and outpatient populations, caring for patients from newborn through geriatric age groups. This role involves operating CT equipment to produce accurate diagnostic images, selecting appropriate patient positioning and radiation protection techniques, and preparing patients by explaining procedures and obtaining necessary consent. The technologist works closely with radiologists and the imaging team to ensure timely, high-quality patient care while maintaining accurate documentation and following aseptic and sterile techniques when appropriate. Responsibilities Perform CT imaging procedures for inpatient and outpatient populations.Produce high-quality diagnostic images while following established imaging protocols.Position patients appropriately and apply proper shielding techniques.Prepare and educate patients prior to imaging procedures.Obtain required patient consent before examinations.Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and imaging staff to support patient care.Maintain accurate documentation immediately following each procedure.Follow infection control, aseptic, and sterile technique guidelines.Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout each examination. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Imaging program required.One year of CT experience preferred.Current Florida Department of Health General Radiographer license required.ARRT CT Registry required or registry eligible with certification obtained within six months of hire.Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient-centered care.Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
