CT Technologist
About the role
The CT Technologist operates CT scanners and X-ray machines to produce cross-sectional images of patients' internal organs and tissues. The role involves assisting in diagnosing medical conditions and developing treatment plans through the production of high-quality images.
Responsibilities
- Operate CT scanners and X-ray machines to produce diagnostic images.
- Collaborate with the Radiologist to perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
- Process and transmit images to Picture Archiving and Communication Systems (PACS).
Requirements
- One year of acute, clinical radiology experience preferred.
- Extensive knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology.
- Radiology/CT license and fluoroscopy permit as required by State.
- ARRT-CT Certification required.
- BCLS (AHA) certification upon hire.
- Proficient computer skills.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of mobile and stationary Radiographic / Fluoroscopic equipment.

This position is on a per diem basis, meaning PD/PRN as needed.
