About the role
Perform both invasive and non-invasive procedures across multiple imaging modalities including Diagnostic, CT, MRI, Nuclear Medicine, Ultrasound, Mammography, and Bone Densitometry.
Responsibilities
- Operate complex imaging equipment and assist physicians
- Utilize sterile techniques when necessary
- Perform high-quality imaging studies independently
- Work within at least two modalities to meet departmental needs
- Maintain certifications and continuing education
- Ensure patient safety and care throughout procedures
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited radiologic technology program
- ARRT registered with post-primary certification in at least one modality: CT, Mammography, or MRI within specified timeframes
- Prior experience in a multi-disciplined radiology department
- BLS certification
Qualifications
Preferred: two years of advanced discipline experience
