CT Technologist

Job Summary

The CT Technologist performs routine and specialized imaging procedures in accordance with professional and departmental standards. They provide high-quality computerized tomography images used by physicians for diagnosis and treatment.

Qualifications

• Current License as an MRT by the State of Texas required.
• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) (CT) required.
• Current Healthcare Provider BLS issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required.
• Must be graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.

What You Will Do

• Assist and position patients on CT table.
• Start IVs for contrast injection and when necessary.
• Assess image quality and make adjustments when necessary.
• Release customers with proper post-procedure instructions.
• Turn over and prepare the room using aseptic technique between patients and clean/sterilize equipment.
• Follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines.
