About the Role
Performs diagnostic procedures utilizing radiation detection and imaging equipment. Provides quality care to patients of all age groups, from newborn to elderly, according to department standards. Produces high-quality images in a safe and efficient manner. Completes required exams, sends studies to reading station for radiologist review, and completes all associated documentation. Other related duties as assigned.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using radiation detection and imaging equipment.
- Provide quality care to patients across all age groups (newborn to elderly).
- Complete established competencies for the position within the designated introductory period.
- Produce high-quality images safely and efficiently.
- Complete required exams, send studies to the reading station for radiologist review, and handle all associated documentation.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Imaging Program (required).
- 1-3 years of experience (preferred).
Qualifications
- ARRT (R) certification (required).
- Documentation of CT training and experience (required).
- Must obtain CT Registry within one year of hire (required).
- BLS certification (required).
- State license, if required (required).
