CT Technologist

About the role

The CT Technologist assists physicians in diagnostic and therapeutic procedures by preparing patients and operating CT equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic scans.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for procedures
• Operate CT machinery
• Adapt procedures based on patient age and needs
• Ensure accurate imaging
• Operate imaging equipment
• Prepare patients for scans
• Ensure safety and quality standards are met

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent from ARRT-approved Radiography or Nuclear Medicine programs, or equivalent certification
• Minimum one year of CT experience preferred
• Current ARRT certification in CT (RT(R), RT(N), or CNMT) required, with registration in CT within six months of hire
• State licensure and IV credentialing required
