About the role
The CT Technologist assists physicians in diagnostic and therapeutic procedures by preparing patients and operating CT equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic scans.
Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for procedures
- Operate CT machinery
- Adapt procedures based on patient age and needs
- Ensure accurate imaging
- Operate imaging equipment
- Prepare patients for scans
- Ensure safety and quality standards are met
- Emphasize teamwork, diversity, inclusion, and a commitment to patient safety and high-quality care
Qualifications
- Associate degree or equivalent from ARRT-approved Radiography or Nuclear Medicine programs, or equivalent certification
- Minimum one year of CT experience preferred
- Current ARRT certification in CT (RT(R), RT(N), or CNMT) required, with registration in CT within six months of hire
- State licensure and IV credentialing required
