CT Technologist

About the role

Responsible for assisting physicians in diagnostic and therapeutic procedures by operating CT equipment, preparing patients, and ensuring accurate scans. This PRN days position requires certified radiologic or nuclear medicine technologists with ARRT or NMTCB registration, applicable state licensure, and life support certification.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT imaging equipment to obtain diagnostic images.
• Prepare patients for procedures, ensuring comfort and safety.
• Interpret patient information to meet age-specific care needs.
• Maintain adherence to safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent from an ARRT-approved radiography or nuclear medicine program.
• One year of CT experience preferred.
• Certification and registration by ARRT or NMTCB, with ongoing certification in CT within six months if not initially certified in CT.
• Applicable state license and life support training.
