CT Technologist

About the role

We are seeking a CT Tech Specialist to ensure high quality, efficient care for all patients. The ideal candidate will have a passion for patient care and a strong background in diagnostic imaging.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT scan equipment to produce quality images for diagnosing medical conditions
• Obtain consent, prepare patients, and explain the procedure to them
• Determine most suitable anatomical posture/position and shield patients accordingly
• Collaborate with physicians and other Imaging staff as needed
• Practice aseptic/sterile technique for all procedures
• Follow all general infection control measures and those specific to the CT scan department
• Complete required documentation accurately immediately after completing each case

Requirements

• Basic Cardiac Life Support within 30 days of employment start date
• Registered Radiographer (ARRT)
• State Registered Radiologic Technician
• Vocational School Graduate or High School Graduate/GED
• Graduate of an accredited school of Diagnostic Imaging
• One year of experience in performing CT preferred
• Florida State DOH General Radiographer and ARRT CT Registry or registry eligible and acquire within six months of hire
• No travel required
