About the role

Gifford is seeking a CT Technologist to join our Diagnostic Imaging team. This position requires advanced knowledge of radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment, with specialized expertise in CT.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT and X-ray equipment to perform diagnostic imaging procedures in accordance with department protocols, ensuring proper patient positioning, exposure techniques, and radiation safety practices.
• Assist Radiologists in performing procedures while maintaining high-quality imaging results and accurate documentation in the PACS system.
• Serve as a resource for providers and support staff, offering expertise in imaging techniques and protocols.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex equipment issues to ensure optimal functionality.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Technology with ARRT certified and licensing with the State of Vermont required.
• Registered or Registry eligible in CT.
• 1 year experience in diagnostic imaging desired but will consider new graduates with strong skills.
