CT Technologist-$15K sign-on bonus and new higher rates

About the role

Under general supervision of the CT Manager, and following established policies and procedures, operates a CT (computed tomography) scanner to obtain images for use by physicians in diagnoses and treatment of pathologies. The technologist provides technical and ancillary support to the department mission through demonstrated clinical and academic competency in CT. Clinical and academic competency is defined as completing training and meeting all clinical responsibilities to all areas assigned, ability to work unsupervised in the clinical setting, willingness to rotate to all areas as the need arises, and holding appropriate licensure and advanced certification, as required by the ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists), the ACR (American College of Radiology) and the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT scanner to obtain diagnostic images for physician use.
• Provide technical and ancillary support to the department.
• Maintain clinical and academic competency in CT.
• Work unsupervised in the clinical setting.
• Willingness to rotate to all areas as needed.
• Complete training and meet all clinical responsibilities assigned.
• Hold appropriate licensure and advanced certification (ARRT, ACR, Massachusetts).

Requirements

• Graduate of an approved school of Radiologic Technology.
• ARRT registered in Radiologic Technology.
• CT specialty certification required or obtainable within one year of employment.
• BLS or CPR certification required.

Schedule

40 hours per week: Sunday and Monday 9:00 am–9:30 pm; Tuesday and Wednesday 11:00 am–7:30 pm.
