CT Tech - Relief/PRN

About the Role

As a CT Tech II - Relief/PRN, you will perform high-quality CT imaging procedures, assist with dual CT and X-ray functions, and support interventional radiology when needed. You will review patient histories, follow safety protocols, maintain documentation, and educate patients about procedures. Collaboration with healthcare professionals and adherence to infection control standards are essential.

Responsibilities

• Perform and review CT examinations accurately.
• Prepare and administer IV contrast, monitor for reactions.
• Position patients and operate imaging equipment safely.
• Document procedures and support patient education.
• Assist with interventional procedures and routine dual CT/X-ray tasks.
• Follow safety and infection control standards, ensuring quality and compliance.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor's degree preferred.
• At least one year of related experience.
• ARRT certification in Radiography (required).
• BLS certification (required).
• ARRT-CT certification (preferred).
• Knowledge of CT procedures, safety protocols, and healthcare systems.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to learn new technology and handle patients of various ages and conditions.
• Basic computer skills.
