CT Tech PRN
Job Summary
Demonstrates ability to obtain quality CT images and to perform CT Studies. Complies with radiation safety guidelines. Operates CT equipment safely. Demonstrates ability to perform all necessary computer operations. Renders patient care in a professional and courteous manner and always identifies patients utilizing the proper protocol. Prepares CT scanner and performs quality control tests. Assists the radiologist in administering medication, contrast agents, performing biopsies and all types of care to patients. Reviews each exam for technical accuracy and identifies anatomical orientation on all images. Demonstrates willingness to assist in additional duties. Maintains work area in a clean and orderly manner. Maintains strict confidentiality regarding employees and patients according to policy and procedure.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience in Diagnostic Radiology.
- PREFERRED: At least 1 year of experience as a CT Technologist
- REQUIRED: Graduate of accredited School of Radiologic Technology
- Responsible for continuing education credits as mandated by the ARRT for licensure.
