About the Role

Responsibilities
- Positions and transfers patients in a timely manner while maintaining patient safety and physical requirements.
- Develops film by automatic processing using knowledge of the equipment.
- Utilizes surgical techniques as needed for sterile procedures.
- Assists in equipment calibration and quality control, performing each test in a timely manner.
- Administers radiographic contrast according to physician requests and departmental policy.
- Evaluates when a radiologist should be consulted on the administration of contrast media.
- Completes initial IV set-up prep for CT scans, including IV prep, insertion, and positioning to ensure proper aseptic technique.
Requirements
- ARRT-CT (ARRT-Computed Tomography) certification within 12 months of hire.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) or CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) certification issued by the American Red Cross or American Heart Association within 30 days of hire.
