General Summary

The CT Scan Technologist coordinates and performs CT, diagnostic, and surgery procedures as required. Administers contrast material, under the direction of a physician. Sets exposure factors according to established protocols. Operates equipment and adjusts as necessary. Practices and insures promotion of behavior that meets and exceeds customer needs and expectations and supports the Mission.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION

  • Education: Graduate of AMA approved School of Radiologic Technology.
  • Knowledge: Demonstrated proficiency in operation of CT equipment, computer skills, communication, and interpersonal skills with all customer groups, in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience: Two (2) years of clinical experience as a staff technologist, preferred; one (1) year of clinical experience as a CT technologist is preferred.
  • Licensure/Certification: Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists and CT registered, within one year from date of hire. Licensed by the State of Ohio. CPR certification current.
