About the role
Perform CT scans to produce cross-sectional images of tissues and internal organs, aiding in diagnosis and treatment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for CT procedures and explain the process.
- Administer contrast media as required.
- Position patients accurately to obtain optimal imaging results.
- Select and adjust imaging techniques to ensure high-quality scans.
- Enter and verify patient data in imaging systems.
- Perform quality assurance checks on CT equipment.
- Assist with accreditation processes and maintain compliance with standards.
- Report equipment malfunctions and ensure timely repairs.
- Maintain safety standards for patients, staff, and self.
- Promote personalized, compassionate care in alignment with organizational policies.
- Support professional growth of peers and serve as a mentor.
- Collaborate with team members across departments.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
- Valid state licensure and certification from ARRT or NMTCB in CT.
- Minimum one year of CT experience or two years as a Radiological Technologist with CT training (preferred).
Skills
- Proficiency in patient maneuvering and positioning.
- Technical expertise in operating CT equipment and selecting imaging parameters.
- Strong safety awareness and adherence to protocols.
- Ability to work flexibly across multiple departments.
