CT Tech Opportunities

Role Summary

This position performs Computed Tomography (CT) scans to produce cross-sectional images of tissues and organs, aiding in diagnosis and treatment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients, explain procedures, administer contrast, position patients, select imaging techniques, and ensure scan quality.
• Monitor patient data, perform equipment quality assurance, and assist with accreditation processes.
• Identify and report equipment issues or incidents, provide emergency coverage, and support department goals.
• Adhere to safety protocols and promote compassionate, personalized patient care.
• Support professional growth, serve as a mentor, and contribute to a team environment.

Qualifications & Skills

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program, with current licensure and certification (ARRT-CT or NMTCB(CT)).
• Minimum of one year CT experience or two years as a Radiologic Technologist with CT training preferred.
• Ability to lift/maneuver patients, and knowledge of growth/development principles for various age groups.
• Certification in Basic or Advanced Life Support.
• Ability to work in a team, and commitment to safety and quality patient care.
