CT Tech MRMC - Cat Scan - 32 hr Days

Major Responsibilities

  • Properly performs all CT scan examinations appropriate to the age of the patient in inpatient and/or outpatient settings, consistent with departmental and professional standards and protocols.
  • Gathers pertinent clinical data and maintains accurate patient records.
  • Accurately completes all records, paperwork and billings and submits promptly.
  • Positions and transfers patients appropriately and assists physicians with interventional exams.
  • Promptly and properly completes exams, performs QC on images and appropriately sends exams to PACS for the physicians to review.

Position Qualifications

  • Maintain all area specific CEUs for ARRT, DPH according to regulation.
  • Must take the initial exam for the ARRT certification in CT Scan within 6 months of the completion of the required competencies. Exam delays will be reviewed on a case by case basis.
  • Must pass the ARRT CT certification exam within 12 months.
  • BLS certification with 30 days of hire.

License/Certification/Education

  • AART certification in Radiology or NMTCB in Nuclear Medicine.
  • RTR licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts is required.

Experience/Skills
