CT Tech Lead
Job Summary and Qualifications
The Lead CT Technologist is responsible for performing a variety of imaging procedures ordered by the physician. They serve as role models and clinical resource for the staff, respond to requests for information or follow-up, and manage staffing and supplies.
What You Will Do in This Role
- Assure adequate staffing according to volume, flexing when necessary.
- Cook up daily technologist assignments.
- Ensure all exams are completed and put in take status.
- Operate all department equipment safely and properly.
- Teach and mentor radiology students.
- Implement proper exposure techniques and positioning.
- Demonstrate knowledge of drugs, their actions, side effects and contraindications for administration.
- Help manage supplies in a cost-effective manner.
Qualifications You Will Need
- Must be a graduate of an accredited 24-month Radiological Technology Program.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date (ARRT-CT).
- Computed Tomography (ARRT-R) and Radiography Certificate.
- 2 years experience required.
