Compensation range: $50.50 - $68.18 per hour, based on applicable experience.

About the Role

Under the general direction of the Manager, Radiology and the immediate supervision of the Lead Technologist, the CT Technologist performs imaging procedures at a technical level not requiring direct supervision. Responsibilities include operating CT and X-ray equipment, preparing and administering contrast media, performing intravenous contrast injections, and preparing patient rooms, supplies, and medications. The role ensures quality control and adherence to Enloe Medical Center’s Core Values, ARRT Standards of Ethics, and departmental policies.
Responsibilities
- Perform general diagnostic radiographic exams and CT exams
- Operate CT and X-ray equipment
- Prepare and administer contrast media, including intravenous injections
- Prepare patient rooms, equipment, supplies, and medications
- Enforce quality control and safety standards
- Uphold ARRT Standards of Ethics and departmental policies
- Support the service excellence mission of Enloe Medical Center and the Radiology Department
Requirements
Minimum:
- Current full certificate of Radiologic Technology issued by the Department of Health Services, State of California (CRT)
- Approved CPR certification
- ARRT certification to be obtained within 6 months of hire
- Fluoroscopy permit to be obtained within 6 months of hire
Desired:
- Two years of experience in diagnostic X-ray
- One year of experience in CT
- Current Radiographic contrast media and venipuncture certification
- Current ARRT license
- Radiologic Technologist fluoroscopy permit issued by the State of California
- Advanced certification in CT
Skills & Knowledge
- Thorough knowledge of human structure and function, cross-sectional anatomy, patient care, positioning, and principles of radiographic exposure
- Understanding of quality assurance, radiation physics, radiation protection, radiobiology, and specialized techniques for radiologic and CT technologists
- Self-motivated and intelligent with excellent communication and critical thinking skills
- Ability to fulfill the essential functions of the position
