CT Tech II Weekend Track - Nights - St. Peter's Hospital

About the Role

St. Peter's Hospital is looking for a CT Technologist for a full-time weekend night track position in Medical Imaging. This role operates on a 12-hour night shift from 6:30pm to 7:00am.

Responsibilities

• Obtain and record a complete clinical history pertinent to the examination requested.
• Evaluate requests for appropriateness; refer concerns to coordinator and/or radiologist.
• Instruct patients on the nature of the exam being performed and communicate post-procedure information.
• Ensure proper radiation protection measures to provide an ALARA environment for patients, co-workers, and self.
• Understand and actively participate in the ALARA program and dosimetry program.
• Complete all required documentation related to patient care, imaging procedures, and RIS requirements.
• Demonstrate proper use of positioning devices and other equipment to provide safe, accurate, and complete exams.
• Assist in the instruction of new personnel.

Requirements

• AAS Degree in Radiologic Technology.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience as a CT Technologist.
• Current ARRT registration, NYS license, and certification to inject.
• Experience on Siemens equipment preferred.

Pay

Pay range: $38.45–$52.26 per hour. Weekend night track rate: $59.25 per hour. Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may vary based on location.

Schedule

12-hour night shift: 6:30pm–7:00am (weekend track).
