FT Weekend Track Days CT Tech- St. Peters Hospital

St. Peter's Hospital is seeking a full‑time CT Technologist for a weekend track position in Medical Imaging. This role offers training opportunities for radiology technologists and is part of St. Peter's Health Partners, a Magnet‑recognized hospital serving the Capital Region.

Responsibilities

• Obtain and record a complete clinical history pertinent to the examination requested.
• Evaluate requests for appropriateness; refer concerns to the coordinator and/or radiologist.
• Instruct patients regarding the nature of the exam being performed.
• Effectively communicate information regarding post‑procedure care.
• Ensure proper radiation protection measures to provide an ALARA environment for patients, co‑workers, and self.
• Understand the ALARA program and actively participate in the dosimetry program.
• Complete all required documentation related to patient care, imaging procedures, and RIS requirements.
• Demonstrate proper use of positioning devices and other equipment necessary to provide safe, accurate, and complete exams.
• Assist in the instruction of new personnel.

Requirements

• AAS Degree in Radiologic Technology
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a CT Technologist
• Current ARRT registration, NYS license required, and certification to inject
• Experience on Siemens equipment preferred

Pay

Pay Range: $38.45 – $54.86 per hour. Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act will be paid within the base‑salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The range may vary based on location.

Schedule

Weekend Track – Days 7:00 am – 7:30 pm, Saturday and Sunday (12‑hour day shift).
