About the role

The CT Technologist I is responsible for performing complex CT procedures in accordance with established protocols and all regulatory requirements in an acute care trauma and stroke center.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex CT procedures in accordance with established protocols and all regulatory requirements.
• Work flexible schedules as needed.
• Communicate verbally and in writing effectively.
• Show strong organizational skills.
• Solve problems confidently and with poise.
• Use basic computer skills.
• Conduct Quality Assurance Testing on all CT equipment.
• Show proficiency in knowledge of CDPH and JC requirements.
• Handle pressure with confidence and poise.

Requirements

• Current State of California (CRT) License and Fluoroscopy credential required.
• Current ARRT (R) credential and advanced ARRT (CT) credential is required.
• Current BLS provider card is required.
• Successfully complete a CDPH approved Venipuncture Course with a minimum of 10 hours instruction in accordance with California Venipuncture Law HSC 106985 required.
• Successful completion of a JCERT approved school for Radiologic Technology program.
• Minimum one (1) year recent experience as a CT Technologist preferred.
• Proficient operating CT equipment.
• Proficient in operating a pressure injector.

Education: Successful completion of a JCERT approved school for Radiologic Technology program.

Pay

Pay Range: CT TECH I - $32.42 to $51.88
