Responsibilities

• Perform CT scanning procedures and related quality control monitoring as assigned.
• Perform CT scans of various anatomy of the body to produce clinically diagnostic images to assist the physician in the diagnosis of disease and injuries.
• Ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures.
• Responsible for CT scans of newborn, infant, pediatric, adolescence, adult and geriatric patients.
• Responsible for the availability and sterility of supplies used for assigned area.
• Operate CT equipment, develop films and prepare CT room for procedures.

Schedule

Shift: Fri/Sat/Sun, 9:30 AM - 10:00 PM

Requirements

• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology. CT Registry preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
• Must possess full range of body motion to pass a basic FIT test to include bending, stooping, standing and sitting for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Work is fast paced.
• Visual acuity, hearing, stooping, reaching, and kneeling required.
• Average physical demands involve moving/transporting patients, lifting accessory equipment and pushing wheelchairs or stretchers.
