Job Details

Pride Health is hiring a CT Tech to support our client’s healthcare facility in Corvallis, OR 97330. This is an 8-week contract assignment (Possibility of extension or conversion) and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Job Responsibilities

  • Perform CT scans in accordance with physician orders, established protocols, and departmental quality standards.
  • Review and protocol imaging orders prior to scheduling to ensure exam accuracy and appropriateness.
  • Start IV lines, maintain intravenous access, flush ports, and administer contrast agents as appropriate for imaging procedures.
  • Assess patients for risk factors related to IV contrast administration, including screening for contraindications and safety concerns.
  • Monitor patients during procedures and maintain a safe, clean, and organized scan environment.
  • Utilize CT scan protocols effectively to obtain high-quality diagnostic images while ensuring patient comfort and safety.
  • Communicate clearly with radiologists, providers, and other clinical staff regarding imaging needs, protocol concerns, and patient-related issues.
  • Document all imaging procedures, patient interactions, and relevant clinical information accurately in EMR and imaging systems.
  • Manage and navigate imaging workflow using Siemens Syngo.via software, PACS systems (Merge and Phillips), RIS, and EMR platforms.
  • Sure imaging data is properly archived, accessible, and maintained according to departmental standards.
  • Maintain compliance with facility policies, patient safety guidelines, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of CT Technologist experience
  • Current ARRT (R)(CT) certification
  • Current OBMI Radiographer certification
  • Current BLS for Healthcare Providers
