Join our team as a night shift, full-time Cat Scan Technician (CT) in Westwood, NJ. You’ll work with advanced technology to enhance patient care at Hackensack Meridian Pascack Valley Medical Center, a 128-bed acute-care community hospital featuring a new emergency department, state-of-the-art maternity center, women’s imaging center, and ICU.
Responsibilities
- Deliver personalized, professional, and quality patient care
- Provide internal and external customer service
- Perform all CT examinations
- Transport patients to and from Imaging Services
- Prepare departmental paperwork
- Answer the department’s telephone and schedule patients
- Enter and retrieve patient information from the Picture Archiving Communication System (PACS) and Hospital Information System (HIS)
- Maintain the work area in a clean and organized manner
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) as an RT
- CT Certification or certification eligible with successful completion of certification within 6 months of hire
- Licensed by the Department of Environmental Protection Bureau of X-ray compliance, State of New Jersey
- BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous employment as a Radiology Technologist
Pay
Rate of pay is determined based on experience and education, and may include other pay components such as differentials and call pay based on role.
