About the role
Join our team as a variable shift, PRN, Cat Scan (CT) Tech in Montclair, NJ.
Responsibilities
- Perform Cat Scan diagnostic imaging and Cat Scan interventional procedures on adult and pediatric patients.
- Prepare patients for scanning.
- Determine appropriate type and dose of contrast to be administered.
- Provide accurate explanations and instructions.
- Perform venipuncture, IV patency and maintenance procedures according to established guidelines.
- Monitor the patient’s physical condition for any adverse reactions during the procedure.
- Perform any and all other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in CT scan.
- Active and current New Jersey State License—NJDEP Radiologic Technologist.
- Maintains CEU Credits.
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (A.R.R.T.) certification.
- BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in Applied Science.
