Responsibilities

• Conduct patient screenings and ensure patient safety during all procedures.
• Aid with contrast injections and venipuncture as required.
• Ensure adherence to radiation safety guidelines and protocols to protect patients and staff.
• Set up CT protocols and prepare patients for exams.
• Manage image processing, reconstruction, and troubleshoot any artifacts.
• Participate in QA/QC activities and perform routine performance checks to ensure the efficiency of the imaging equipment.
• Navigate RIS and ensure accuracy in documentation.
• Collaborate with the radiology team to ensure the smooth operation of the department.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA guidelines and regulations.

Qualifications

• Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a CT Tech role.
• Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• Proficient in Diagnostic Imaging, PACS, and RIS navigation.
• Experience in patient screening, contrast injection support, and venipuncture.
• Knowledge of radiation safety and CT protocol set-up.
• Expertise in image processing, reconstruction, and artifact troubleshooting.
• Experience in QA/QC participation and routine performance checks.
• Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
• Must possess a valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

This role is full-time.

Pay

$26 - $42.9 per hour
