CT Supervisor

About the role

This position functions as an extension of the Manager, overseeing imaging services in the CT department. Responsibilities include facilitating staff training, coordinating schedules, ensuring policy compliance, and assisting in budget development. The role involves performing CT diagnostic procedures, explaining procedures to patients, and maintaining accurate records to meet quality and legal standards. Additionally, the position supports policy development, ensures clinical competency, and manages daily departmental operations in the Manager’s absence.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate staff training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
• Perform diagnostic CT procedures and explain them to patients.
• Assist with record-keeping, policy review, and compliance.
• Support department budgeting and development of policies and protocols.
• Manage daily operations and assume leadership in the Manager’s absence.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or technical certification with relevant experience, or equivalent education and training.
• ARRT-CT and ARRT-R certifications required upon hire.
• 1–3 years of CT experience preferred.
