CT Scan Technician

About the role

We are seeking a Cat Scan (CT) Technician responsible for performing imaging procedures, reviewing patient history, educating patients, and ensuring safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Preparing equipment
• Administering contrast media
• Monitoring patient conditions
• Troubleshooting equipment issues
• Positioning patients
• Analyzing image quality
• Reporting scan results

Requirements

• A current NM Radiologic Technologist license
• ARRT certification in radiography and CT
• An associate degree in a related field
• BLS certification

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

• Experience with CAT scan technology
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Skills

• Proficiency with medical imaging software
• Effective communication skills
• Knowledge of radiation safety protocols

Schedule

Schedule flexibility includes night shifts with options for 5x8 or 4x10 shifts, working either Monday through Thursday or Friday. Position is available year-round.
