About the role
Under general supervision of the CT Manager, Lead CT Technologists, and the Imaging Coordinator, operates a CT scanner and related equipment to produce radiographs of any designated anatomical area. Operates in a busy Radiology Department, fostering patient and family centered care and nursing services in accordance with Brown University Health mission, vision, and values.
Responsibilities

- Assures quality results.
- Trains fellow students and staff in imaging procedures and techniques.
Requirements
- MRI license and CT supplemental license from the DOH.
- Registered and in good standing with the American Registry of Radiological Technology (ARRT).
- CPR certification from AHA, BLS for Healthcare Providers.
- Two years of formal training in an approved School of Radiologic Technology, plus registration through the American Registry for Radiologic Technologists.
- Six months' experience as a Radiologic Technologist in a hospital radiology department, plus six months specialized training in the operation of the CT Scanner.
Qualifications
Must hold a RI state Radiology license and CT supplemental license from the DOH. Must be registered and in good standing with the American Registry of Radiological Technology (ARRT). Must hold a current CPR certification from AHA, BLS for Healthcare Providers. Two years of formal training in an approved School of Radiologic Technology required, plus registration through the American Registry for Radiologic Technologists. Experience includes six months' experience as a Radiologic Technologist in a hospital radiology department, plus six months specialized training in the operation of the CT Scanner.

Must possess the ability to operate a CT scanner and related equipment to produce radiographs of any designated anatomical area. Must be able to assure quality results and train fellow students and staff in imaging procedures and techniques.
