Major Responsibilities
- Completes self-paced didactic training.
- Attends clinical shifts as part of the training.
- Loads completed exams onto the ARRT website.
- Transitions into an open CT Tech position after completing the program.
Standard Staffing Level Responsibilities
- Complies with departmental policies and procedures.
- Attends meetings and conferences as required.
- Demonstrates use of Quality Improvement in daily operations.
- Complies with health and safety regulations.
- Respects diverse views and approaches.
- Maintains regular, reliable, and predictable attendance.
- Performs other duties as required.
Qualifications
- Enrollment in the Pulse Program through UMMH.
- RTR licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
- Must take the initial ARRT certification exam for CT Scan within 3 months of completing required competencies.
- Must pass the ARRT CT certification exam within 12 months.
- Maintain all area specific CEUs for ARRT and DPH according to regulation.
Physical Demands and Environmental Conditions
- Work is considered medium.
- Indoor work in a normal patient care environment.
