Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent plus graduation from an approved education program in radiologic technology.
- Preferred: 2 years as a Radiologic Technologist.
- Required: Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist license - Texas Department of State Health Services, and current BLS (CPR) training.
Work Conditions
- Ability to move quickly in response to physician and patient needs.
- Ability to stand for long periods, occasional overhead and low reaching.
- Ability to exert force of up to 50 lbs. occasionally, up to 20 lbs. frequently and / or up to 10 lbs. constantly.
- Ability to exert force of up to 30 lbs. constantly, up to 40 lbs. occasionally and up to 100 lbs. rarely.
Occupational Exposure
- Patient care environment with Category 1 exposure to blood borne pathogens, radiation, and /or high energy magnetic fields.
