CT/Radiology Tech - Radiology - PRN

Responsibilities

• Performs all Radiology/CT procedures using digital imaging
• Performs all modalities of PACS/RIS
• Familiar with dosage and side effects of contrast media
• Prepared and knows standard practice if patient reaction occurs
• Starts IVs and administers contrast
• Performs clerical duties, schedules patients, registers patients and copies exams
• Cleans and preps exam rooms
• Works effectively with patients and families and maintains a cooperative relationship with interdepartmental personnel

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Radiology Program
• Licensed by the State of Mississippi and American College of Radiology
• Experience preferred
• BLS required
