CT Radiographer (Rotational) (Development Post)

About the role

The successful candidate will undertake development and training to become a key member of our local CT team as part of a rotational radiographer role.

Responsibilities

  • Undertake General, Theatre and CT imaging, including cardiac and trauma scanning.
  • Develop skills across all aspects of General, Theatre and CT imaging, including cardiac and trauma scanning.
  • Work closely with local clinicians providing the usual in/out patient, GP and acute 24-hour service cover with remote Radiologist support.

Requirements

  • Graduated from a UK university.
  • UK-trained Radiographer.
  • Valuable clinical placement experience within the NHS.
  • Enthusiastic and motivated.

Qualifications

  • Registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).

Skills

  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient in using medical imaging equipment and software.

Benefits

  • Relocation Assistance of up to £8000 available.
  • On-Call Distant Islands Allowance of £2,578 per annum (pro rata).
  • Progression to Band 6 £43,231 - £52,679 per annum (pro rata) on completion of competencies.
  • Up to 18 months allocated to complete training.

Pay

Salary Range - Band 5 £34,544 - £43,039 per annum (pro rata) + On-Call Distant Islands Allowance of £2,578 per annum (pro rata)

Schedule

Part Time – 28.8 hours per week
