About the Role
The Client Service Supervisor performs a wide range of complex administrative activities supporting quality patient care, client service, financial management, marketing, staffing, and business operations under the direction of the Hospital Manager/Administrator.
Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day client service operations in the front office and internal departmental relations, including interviewing, training, coaching, developing, mentoring, and disciplinary action.
- Provide on-the-job training to develop employee skill sets and advise on performance standards for client service.
- Assist the Hospital Manager with daily operations and resolve informal client complaints, reporting issues as needed.
- Ensure efficient front office operations by enforcing policies, procedures, and protocols.
- Identify and recommend solutions for potential problems, workflow processes, and client service needs to the Hospital Manager.
- Make decisions on behalf of the department that align with the best interests of the hospital and clients.
- Coach employees and direct reports, and assist in developing and delivering employee evaluations for the front desk.
- Assist in developing, implementing, and maintaining reporting tools and queries to manage business operations.
- Communicate financial information to clients and doctors and act as a liaison between the front office and other department supervisors.
Requirements
- Excellent knowledge of client service and communication center operations.
- Strong organizational, client relations, and interpersonal skills.
- Intermediate to expert computer skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong supervisory skills and ability to work as a self-starter and team player.
- Proven client service background.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
- 2 years of supervisory experience required.
- 2 years of experience in the veterinary field preferred.
Schedule
This position requires a flexible schedule to ensure coverage, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays based on business needs.
Pay
Pay ranges between $24.50 and $27.00 per hour based on experience.
