About the role

As a Certified Surgical First Assistant (CSFA), you will assist the surgeon and nurses during surgical and medical procedures. Duties include performing minor surgical procedures, prepping patients, and providing care to patients after procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist the surgeon and nurses during surgical and medical procedures
• Perform minor surgical procedures
• Prepare patients for surgery
• Provide post-procedure patient care
• Quickly comprehend and respond to the needs of the surgical team and patients

Requirements

• Certificate from an accredited Surgical First Assistant program
• Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills
• Strong interpersonal skills including patience, empathy, and compassion
• Effective communication skills
• Fast and adaptive problem-solving abilities
