About the role
As a Certified Surgical First Assistant (CSFA), you will assist the surgeon and nurses during surgical and medical procedures. Duties include performing minor surgical procedures, prepping patients, and providing post-procedure care.
Responsibilities
- Assist the surgical team during operations and medical procedures
- Perform minor surgical procedures under supervision
- Prepare patients for surgery
- Provide post-procedure patient care
- Communicate effectively with surgeons, nurses, and patients to respond quickly to team needs
Requirements
- Certificate from an accredited Surgical First Assistant program
- Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills
- Strong interpersonal skills, including patience, empathy, and compassion
- Effective verbal and written communication
- Fast and adaptive problem-solving abilities
Pay
Estimated gross weekly pay: $2,096
