Cryovac Operator

About the role

The Cryovac Operator processes work orders in line with Park 100 Foods' processes and expectations. This position is essential for providing quality products by following company procedures, maintaining a safe environment, and setting an example through performance and attendance. The role involves following detailed instructions, completing repetitive tasks, and working independently while adhering to all corporate, regulatory, quality, and sanitation requirements.

Responsibilities

• Understand work orders and set up machines per product specifications, including correct weight, date, and bag length.
• Monitor and document processes, ensuring compliance with company procedures.
• Operate iPad-based productivity and food safety application software.
• Complete all necessary paperwork accurately and legibly.
• Report maintenance issues and assist technicians in troubleshooting.
• Maintain sanitary conditions during production.
• Set up and operate Cryovac equipment.
• Communicate effectively with fellow processing team members.
• Maintain a safe work environment.
• Work in a fast-paced environment with multiple demands.
• Adhere to Park 100 Foods policies and procedures at all times.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalency.
• Indefinite right to work in the United States.

Skills

• Ability to read, write, and demonstrate verbal and written communication skills.

Physical Requirements

• Stand for long periods of time.
• Perform tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Push and pull more than 50 lbs.
• Work in varying environmental conditions: hot, cold, wet, and dry.
• Wear all required Workplace Safety and Food Safety PPE.
